This 1800s Dairy Barn Turned Wedding Venue in Indiana Is Absolutely and Utterly Perfect

When the Reinhardt family purchased Zyntango Farm in Whitestown, Indiana in 2013, the property’s 1800s-era dairy barn was just about ready to fall over—but they knew it *had* to be saved.

The barn was modernized with electricity throughout, filtered water, an ice machine, and refrigerator, along with adding elegant touches like bistro and chandelier lighting. Basically, it’s the perfect mix of old rustic and modern chic. And, it even has a 1903 farmhouse for day-of preparations (depending on your rental package), and for the couple to spend the night of their big day.

So, yeah. We love it, too.

Hear more about the Barn at Zyntango Farm from Shawna Reinhardt, the venue’s owner.

What makes your venue special?
We provide a relaxed wedding day experience for our couples. The typical “rush” to and from is eliminated by having everyone come to you at the farmhouse. We have never had a “late” bride. We also only allow 8 guests per table. Many venues accomplish higher guest count by squeezing 10 people per table. Guest comfort is paramount at Zyntango Farm.

What is your favorite moment from one of your weddings?
Usually the favorite moments are a result of something the kids in the wedding do—or sometimes don’t do.

What is your best advice for couples planning their weddings?
Have a trusted Day Of Coordinator help pull together all of the months of planning. This allows the couple to enjoy the day and not get caught up in vendor details and any last minute issues that might arise.

Are there any vendors you would recommend to couples planning a wedding at your venue?
We make our vendor recommendations based on the budget and desires of the couple. Unlike many venues, we don’t charge or take service fees from vendors who work at our venue. We believe this allows us to give honest recommendations to the couples.
