New rule for Louisiana brides: Go get married at the Maison D’Memoire Bed and Breakfast Cottages in Rayne, just 20 minutes from Lafayette.
No, really. This venue has it all for rustic brides: picturesque grounds with private lake, wildflowers, and spaces for nature walks; a signature wedding package with all sorts of awesome extras; a gorgeous special events center; and restored Cajun cottages with a super cozy atmosphere (and with a full breakfast delivered to your door in the morning. Yum.) Oh, and need a moment to relax from the wedding festivities? Try sipping some lemonade on the veranda. Swoon.
Learn more about this charming venue from Lyn Guidry, co-owner of Maison D’Memoire. (You’re in good hands with her and her team: She’s been running the bed and breakfast for 25 years and hosting weddings for 15, so she knows a thing or two about how to make an amazing wedding happen.)
