A Rustic Camp Wedding with a Green and White Palette in Maine

A trek through the woods—and in your wedding dress, no less—for the perfect wedding day photo opportunity? No big deal for Lindsay, this beautiful bride who married her husband, David, at the gorgeous Camp Vega in Maine. Captured by Molly Burns of Molly Burns Photography, this wedding was a relaxed and casual event with a deliciously simple green-and-white palette that took full advantage of the camp’s natural lakeside setting, wood-paneled walls and beams, and soaring ceilings.

Says Molly:

“I didn’t have the opportunity to meet the couple before the wedding unfortunately. However, as soon as I met Lindsay, we hit it off right away. She and David were so much fun to work with. They were so happy and I don’t think their smiles left their face once that day. You could just tell how in love they were. Everything about the day was perfect—the weather, the setting, the venue, the decor and of course, the friends and family that surrounded them.

“This couple was so awesome and didn’t mind when I suggested trekking through the woods to get some photos because the light was so perfect. Lindsay hiked up her dress and said, “Let’s go! They were so chill that Lindsay’s dress ended up ripping down the back when trying to get a certain shot. We kept going and then her sister had to quickly sew her back into her dress. Lindsay kept a smile on her face and good spirit about her and David sat there patiently waiting for her. We then kept going with the night and had the best time. You couldn’t even tell that anything had happened at all!”

Lindsay and David, you’re awesome. Can we be friends, please?
