A Red Barn Wedding in Arkansas for High School Sweethearts

Meredith and Hunter are high school sweethearts who had one absolutely gorgeous rustic wedding—classic big red barn included.

Held at The Wedding Barn in Pangburn, Arkansas, the couple’s wedding was photographed by Kayleigh Ross Photography. They’re a bride and groom who put their hearts into their wedding—and it showed.

Many elements of the decor, such as the signs and pictures, are actually from Meredith and Hunter’s home, while others were found at antique shops, or DIYed. And speaking of DIY, the incredible florals were another completely stunning handmade project.

But of all the details, there was one that was particularly special to the bride.

“In 2016, my Pa, my grandfather, passed away from cancer,” says Meredith. “So, to make sure that I had part of him with me that day, my dad and stepmother had part of one of his old denim shirts cut into the shape of a heart and sewn into my dress.” (Cue the tears!)
